Portugal - Dry white wine - 75 cl bottle - Can be kept 5 years - Serve at 10-12 °C
The history of Herdade do Cebolal goes back to 1876 when the wine production in this property began. Always in the same family and with the same passion, production and development are currently guaranteed by the 4th and 5th generation of producers, Isabel and Luís.
This property is located 10km from the sea, in a valley between the Sierra de Santiago and the Serra do Cercal, and the 23ha vineyard faces south where the sea winds give the wines freshness and high acidity. The type of soil gives the wine important characteristics of complexity and intensity of aromas with a certain minerality.
Despite the familiar nature of Herdade do Cebolal and the maintenance of traditions, the new technologies are also an essential presence to guarantee the innovation necessary to the present times. The deep wine knowledge associated with values, ethics, responsibility and respect for man and nature gives rise to this patrimony that identifies them as family.
In the race course of the ancient roman city of Miróbriga ran horses born and bred in the Vale das Éguas (Valley of the Mares), that were chosen for their unique characteristics of competitiveness, resistance, speed and elegance. In that same valley currently grow the vines of the Herdade do Cebolal that produce this elegant and balanced wine, with a pleasant aroma and smooth finish.

The palate combines fullness and tension, with a soft and airy material which envelops the palate, and an aromatic freshness which brings a beautiful dynamic. The whole is harmonious and very digestible. The finish is finely chewy, on bergamot, wet chalk and smoky / marine notes that linger quite a bit.
